Full Description

Centred ND 0940 5103. On N bank of the Allt Loch- meadie, about 250m from its junction with Allt Athain Shalaich are remains of four shielings. They consist of low mounds of earth and stone, about 0.3 to 0.8m high with mutilated outline of a rectangular building on top. These buildings vary from 4 by 3m to 8 by 3.5m in size.

The area has been deep ploughed and planted with conifers. There are no recoverable traces of the shielings.
