A farmstead comprising one roofed long building, one unroofed long building of two compartments, an unroofed structure attached to an enclosure, two other enclosures and a field wall are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxiii). Four unroofed buildings and four enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1994).
