Full Description

The GR given is to a field on rising ground above the Hill of Many Stanes. This area is now totally improved agricultural land (ploughed) and there is no trace of a standing stone at this GR. All the stones from this field have apparently been dumped in a gorse covered area immed to the N of the Hill o Many Stanes Monument, as the knoll on which they stand extends into the field to the N - some stones however may still be "standing" in this area under the dumping - HAW 24/05/2005

ND23NE 12 294 383.
(ND 294 383) A fallen standing stone, 2.7m long, lies 46m W of ND23NE 6 on a ridge.
