Full Description

A structure comprising a subcircular bank of grass-covered stone, 10m in diameter and 1m high, the S side being missing. R J Mercer 1981.

Mercer in his volume gives a 6 fig GR, but map shows this enclosure - No 545 - (albeit small scale & his text and maps do not accord in detail for this area) to the S of the road and not to the N as this GR indicates. The 1st ed shows banking parallel to the burn in the field to the S of the road & W of the chapel, but no other earthworks.
