Though only one structure is shown occupied here (NM 5698 6175) on the current OS 1:10,000 map (1974), this area was intensely occupied at earlier periods. In 1875, buildings at NM 5702 6149 and NM 5709 6163 were roofed. Buildings at NM 5694 6181, NM 5695 6167, NM 5697 6149 and NM 5718 6152 (two) were shown as unroofed. The building at NM 5710 6157 was described as a sheepfold. A building with a small enclosure was roofed here (NM 5724 6177) in 1875. Unroofed structures were shown in 1875 at NM 572 620, NM 5725 6200, NM 5730 6199, NM 5734 6195, NM 5735 6181 and NM 5737 6178. This building (NM 5742 6169) was roofed in 1875 as were neighbouring buildings at NM 5740 6166, and NM 5744 6167. A building at NM 5740 6159 was unroofed as was the building at Rubha Dubh at NM 5735 6140. This has been a desk assessment.
