Cist found AD 1867 (NAT) OS 1:10,000 map, (1976)
A stone cist about 5ft long and 'of the usual description' was found during ploughing in 1867 by Mr Sutherland of Mybster Inn. It contained human remains.

No further information. Visited by OS (N K B) 8 November 1965
Stone cist, Mybster. Dimensions: 2 x 1m. This survives as a fragmented structure, a central stone-kerbed area surrounded by an outer ring of stones 0.8m wide. Orientated E-W.
