E: Longhouse. Dimensions: 18 x 5m. Rectangular bipartite structure, possibly with a kiln at the NW end. Orientation NW-SE.

An unroofed long building of two compartments is shown on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxiii) and is similarly depicted on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1994).

The first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxiii) does not show any trace of a mill lade, sluice or mill dam and the building may be part of the farmstead at ND25SW 3.01.

Excavation of the settlement nearby which included a mill, showed it to be 18th and 19th century.
