Longhouse farm (ND 1589 5546), comprising;
A: Longhouse. Dimensions: 35 x 5m. Rectangular bipartite structure. The SW unit is probably a byre dwelling as it contains a fireplace and at the other end a drainage channel. The NE unit is a later addition. Orientation NE-SW.
B: Outhouse. Dimensions: 6 x 4m. Rectangular structure. A wall runs from it 32m long, associated with a circular feature, probably a kiln, 8m in diameter.

A farmstead comprising one roofed long building and one unroofed long building is depicted on the 1st edition of the 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xviii). An unroofed building is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1971).
