Full Description

? Stone circle. Diameter: 17m. Circular setting of at least six irregularly shaped stones, showing through peat and heather. Stones up to 0.2m high and the largest is 0.4m long. Elevation 175 ft OD.

Mon. no. FOR 4 This apparently previously unrecorded site comprised six irregularly shaped stones, the largest being no more than 0.4m high as it protrudes above the surrounding peat. The site is set in an area of level ground between two conjoining streams 2.5Kms inland from the Dounereay AERE.

A pre-afforestation survey by AOC (Scotland) Ltd could not locate the stone setting at the given location.
