This airfield began life as a Relief Landing Ground for Dalcross (NH75SE 31), opening in July 1941.
Later in the War, the airfield had acquired wire mesh runways and four 'T2' hangars, none of which survive today and there is not much left to see apart from the usual collection of huts.
