Full Description

At ND 2056 5076 and ND 2074 5076, in pasture ground S of Snottergill Burn, are two hut circles (A and B respectively) Both huts are heavily turf-covered.
'A' measures approximately 6.0m in diameter within a wall spread to 3.0m and 0.5m high in the E, where there is a depression, probably indicating an entrance. Elsewhere the hut is mutilated by ploughing.
'B' measures 9.5m by 7.5m within a wall, now varying in width from 2.5 to 5.0m broad and 0.3m high; there is an entrance in the E, on the line of the main axis. There is no evidence of associated cultivation.
