Axe of Serpentine, 2 1/2 x 2 in., cutting edge imperfect on one side, from Inverness-shire. Purchased 1884.
NMAS 1892.

This axe is held in the Royal Museum of Scotland under accession number AF 257. It has been petrologically attributed to group IX (porcellanite from Tievebulliagh and Rathlin, Northern Ireland).
