(Low-flanged palstave of Wantage type). 'Ross-shire'. Palstave, smooth and shiny dark brown patina, butt damaged, casting seam visible, untrimmed. Length 166mm, butt 19mm, cutting edge 75mm, weight 492 gms. Mus. Arch. Ethnol. Cambridge (F.B.16, P.B.37).
