Full Description

A possible structure, turf-covered and ruinous. Roughly oval in form, it measures 5.9 by 6.4m and is 0.45m in maximum height.
C E Batey 1981.

The described feature was not certainly identified, but two similar structures, one possibly being that noted by Miss Batey, though displaying an entrance in NW, occur at ND 3594 5452 immediately above coastal slope. They are simple, sub-rectangular earth and stone footings probably early-modern in date.
Visited by OS (J B) 22 July 1982.
