Full Description

A standing stone in good condition, 1.8m high and 0.46 by about 0.4m at base. Possibly a rubbing stone.
C E Batey 1981.

The standing stone, at ND 3528 5424, is as described and illustrated. Its size and shape suggest that it is more probably a Bronze Age standing stone than a relatively recent rubbing stone.
Surveyed at 1:2500.
