Full Description

This is one of two houses called Burnside in the village of Milton. This is situated on the East side of the Main Street.

Burnside situated on rising land on N side of village on E side of street. Cottage runs parallel to street with another building, now converted to garage, to S.
NB. there are a number of reused worked stones in the garden wall on the N side of the garden. It is possible that one of these is a cross base or similar, as it has square socket hole cut into it. HAW 10/2002
