A crofting township comprising thirty-eight roofed, three partially roofed, fourteen unroofed buildings and a length of a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1880, sheet cxviii). Although the head-dyke of the township includes all the buildings, ten of the unroofed buildings lie in an area that displays no plots or improved ground. Twenty-seven roofed, seven partially roofed and twenty unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
