The remains of a structure probably a shieling, lying on a green hillock. The lower courses of the walls remain, and they have been about 2' thick with rounded corners. There appear to have been two apartments.
RCAHMS 1911, visited 1910.
The footings of a shieling placed on the summit of a probably natural mound measuring 18m NNE by 11m transversely. The building measures 4.4m by 2m within a dry wall, measuring 0.8m wide. It is twin-compartmented.
Visited by OS (I S S) 11 April 1972.
