Surveying Details

28 June 1943. A position of 58 42 30N, 004 05 30W is given.

19 August 1960. The wreck's position is given as 58 42 00N, 004 05 30W.

19 August 1960. The wreck's position is given as 58 41 48N, 004 03 00W. The vessel's length is 240 feet (73 metres) and its height is 9.1 metres above the rock seabed.

11 January 1985. A wreck was examined on 29 July 1984 at 58 41 46N, 004 02 35W - obtained using syledis or decca (n scot) red f 11.5, purple d 56.2. The least echo sounder depth was 92 in a general depth of 102 metres. No scouring was observed. The side scan sonar indicated a height of 10 metres, and length of 80 metres (262 feet). The wreck is lying with its keel orientated 045/225 degrees.
