The steam trawler GEYSIR was stranded at Torness, Hoy island, on 19 November 1933. It was was refloated on 28 November 1933 by the salvage steamship BULLGER, but while under tow it suddenly capsized and sank. Report by Royal Naval Shore Signal Station, Dunnet Head, 29 November 1933.

7 December 1933. The wreck's position is approximately 3 miles NE of Dunnet Head. It is believed to be no danger to navigation. Report by Royal Naval Signal Station, Dunnet Head.
Note: the depth is about 87 metres.
21 January 1985. Nothing was found in this position.
