Full Description

In a ploughed field, is an elongated uncultivated mound about 35m along the main axis, aligned NW-SE by 15m transversely and 1.5m high, which, viewed from NE or SW, has an upstanding aspect that could suggest an artificial character such as a long cairn. However, there does not appear to be any associated local tradition of a cairn and the farmer has not recorded any finds or noticed any undue concentration of stone around the base.
