An unroofed building is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1876, sheet xcii), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1991).

A Photographic Survey and a plan of the building remains were made in advance of development near the site. Birch & Wildgoose produced a report of the survey (HSMR ref: 1243) which is held in the report library and on CD.
