A crofting township comprising nineteen roofed buildings, two of which are long buildings, two unroofed buildings and their associated enclosures and field walls is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Skye 1880, sheet viii). Twenty-seven roofed, one partially roofed and five unroofed buildings and their associated enclosures and field walls are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1993).
