The steam trawler NOREEN MARY was sunk by gunfire from a German Submarine.

Surveying Details

9 July 1944.The trawler was sunk at an approximate position bearing 240 degrees, 14 miles from Cape Wrath.
Report by HMS MENTOR, 8 July 1944.

17 May 1985. The wreck was not mentioned, but depths on the survey are about 50 metres.
