Full Description
Proposals by the Caithness ranger service to work with volunteers to clear the well area of reeds. Erect a sign post so the well can be located and erect an enclosure around it for safety - HAW 4/2003

A very fine spring well. Name Book 1871.
The cross-stone at Lybster (ND23NW 2) came from the vicinity of the 'Well of the Brethren' about 1840 (info from the clerk of the congregational board). (The dedication to 'the Brethren' often refers to St's Peter and Andrew.)
