25 July 1985. A wreck was located at 58 32 28N, 002 52 14W. The least depth was 56 metres. The length is 50 metres (164 feet). The vessel is lying with its keel on an orientation of 000/180 degrees.

21 March 1986. The site was examined on 29 May 1985 at 58 32 28N, 002 52 14W. Trisponder ranges: Duncansby lighthouse 14558 metres, Quoys Pillar 17244 metres, Muckle Skerry 16921 metres, Noss Head lighthouse 12471 metres. Or decca [n scot] red c 7.90, green b 34.60, purple f 75.7. The least echosounder depth was 56 in a general depth of 64 metres. No scouring was observed. The side scan sonar indicated a height of 7.2 metres, length of 50 metres (164 feet), and beam of 11 metres (36 feet). The vessel is lying on an orientation of 000/180 degrees.
