Surveying Details

10 Janaury 1941. The wreck's position is given as 58 20 00N, 002 31 00W, approximately.

(?58 00 00N, 003 25 00W in World War II Shipping Loses).

25 July 1985. A large dispersed wreck was located at 58 20 16N, 002 39 58W. The least depth was 48 in a general depth of 59 metres.

21 March 1986. The wreck was examined 28 June 1985 at 58 20 16N, 002 39 58W. Trisponder ranges - Toftcarl 26400 metres, Muckle Skerry 42047 metres; Noss Head 27399 metres, Duncansby Head 40016 metres.
Decca = (n scot) red c 21.95, green b 42.90, purple i 58.30. The least echosounder depth was 48 in a general depth of 59 metres. No scouring was observed. The side scan sonar indicated a height of 7 metres, and length of approximately 60 metres (196 feet).
