25 July 1985. A wreck has been located at 58 34 13N, 002 56 09W. The least depth is 73 metres. The length is 55 metres (180 feet). The vessel is lying with its keel on an orientation of 165/345 degrees.

21 March 1986. The site was examined on 29 May 1985 at 58 34 13N, 002 56 09W. Trisponder ranges: Duncansby Head 9723 metres, Quoys Pillar 15026 metres, Muckle Skerry 13425 metres, Noss Head 12077 metres. Decca = [n scot] red c 7.45, green b 31.8, purple f 62.85. The least echosounder depth was 73 in a general depth of 80 metres. No scouring was observed. The side scan sonar indicated a height of 7.2 metres, length of 55 metres (180 feet), and lying with its keel orientated 165/345 degrees.
