10 July 1990. Discarded fish cages, breaking up with parts either sunk or partially submerged, are reported halfway between Glas Eilean and Eilean Donnan (in a direct line between the two islands) at the entrance to Loch Duich at 57 16 12N, 005 32 00W, approximately [Note: this plots onshore!]. The cages are unlit and a serious threat to navigation.

Note; position corrected to 57 16 18N, 005 32 00W - Wrecks Office.

13 August 1990. There are semi-submerged fish cages at 57 16 18N, 005 32 00W, but there may others. They are considered no hazard to navigation.
