NH19NW 8 centred on 101 969

A crofting township comprising seventeen roofed, one partially roofed and two unroofed buildings, their associated enclosures and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire and Comartyshire 1881, sheet xiii). Eleven roofed, one partially roofed and six unroofed buildings, the remains of another unroofed building, their associated enclosures and a head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1969).

Site recorded during a survey of the intertidal zone and the coast edge (50m from the mean high tide mark) between the Rivers Ullapool and Culag.
