Wester Ross Project - Cathy Dagg, 02/04

The crofts in this township were probably established after the clearance of Loggie settlement (west). They are part of the Dundonell estate and originally were numbered as (Loggie) from 1 to 10 (although in no obvious order). Some have been renovated, some replaced and there are a number of newer propoerties being built. The road was put in in the 1930s. Mr Bastow, 1 Loggie, is carrying out research on the area. - Gr given is towards the northern part of the settlement that survives today. There were a number of other properties further to the N which are now derlict. HAW 12/2002
