Full Description

NH44SE 24 499 440

A roughly circular pit 6 yards x 7 yards and 1 foot 6" deep with a flat bottom. Close to the east a rampart or turf wall runs S.E. from the foot of the steep bank for 47 yards. It then turns at right angles and runs N.E. for 8 yards. <1>
