Underground chamber (ND 3343 5235). Diameter: 9.2m. Circular feature 1.2m deep, lined with coursed stone. It is aproached by a ditch and filled with water.

This may be the spring marked on the first edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet xxiv) to the NE of the farmstead of Newfield (ND35SW 43).
