Full Description

This site was visited during a walkover survey in December 2012. The feature in question is possibly visible to the north of the quoted 6 figure grid reference on a 1946 aerial photograph (5032, sortie not quoted) but this is not very clear. On the ground the feature was found to comprise a natural mound with a bank to the east side covered in birch trees. It is thought unlikely to be a hut circle. No other features were noted in the vicinity. <1>
