Full Description

A deserted township, comprising eleven buildings and a corn drying kiln (plus a possible second kiln). The walls of two of the buildings stand to 1m high, others are just moss-covered outlines. The track through the site continues on into the adjacent woodland; a branch of this leads down to the bank of the Druie.

A township, comprising eight unroofed buildings and an L-shaped enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1875, sheet lxxiv). Three unroofed buildings and a short length of wall are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).
