This sub-rectangular enclosure occupies a spur between two small burns which divide the N part of the township from the S; it measures 35m from E to W by 21m transversely within a rubble wall, 2.6m in thickness and up to 0.6m in height on the W and S sides. There is no visible enclosure, except a scarp in the knoll, around the other two sides. A curvilinear ditch, some 4m in breadth and 0.6m in depth, runs from the gully of the burn to the N of the knoll for 14m to a butt-end on the W side of the enclosure. Three ridges were visible running from E to W across the interior. The bank of a small dam encloses a boggy patch, which measures about 10m from N to S by 8m transversely, on the S side of the knoll.
