NC01SW 26 0380 1408

On the W side of Garvie Bay, about 550m NNW of the outfall from Loch Garvie, a teardrop-shaped enclosure has been hollowed out of the top of the storm beach. It measures 8.3m NW-SE by 4.6m transversely within walls formed of piled beach pebbles, 1.4m in thickness and standing up to 1m above the level of the interior. The entrance is in the SE end.
