Full Description

Four buildings surviving only as heaps of dressed stone, brick and concrete:
(a) heap of dressed stone
(b) heap of dressed stone, 0.8m high
(c) dressed stones and brick, forming a corner 1m high
(d) heap of stones and concrete slab
(e) NH 8639 2202 pit, 10m x 14m, just to north of road
(f) NH 8643 2207 (centred) pits, 4m square, and 4m x 7m, 1.5 -2m deep
(g) pit, 3m square
(h) pit, 3m diameter
(i) pit, 3m x 5m, containing the remains of an iron fireplace
(j) pit, 4m x 6m, oval in shape

The Military Road Survey (Logie 97, Perth to Dunkeld) describes three ruinous structures on the north side of the road at this location.
