Thumbnail Photo shows shieling site. "An Sron" - a glacio-fluvial feature giving a name to shielings, now only the burn name - Allt Ruigh na Sroine. Site photographed by A Wakeling, 04/1995. The Highland Archaeology Challenge.

The footings of a shieling hut, 3.5m x 6m. The door is on the south-west side. The shieling appears as a green patch in the heather at the foot of the Sron. It was used by the Collie family.
