Full Description

This building, constructed in 1845 replaced the earlier chapel and graveyard on the opposite side of the river [NN59SE0001].
Name Book 1870.

The building which replaced St. Michael's Chapel [NN59SE0001] is now completely destroyed.
Visited by OS (R D) 1 October 1965.

This Roman Catholic church stood on a hillock above the present road and was surrounded by yew trees.
