Full Description

Old corn-drying kiln set in the slope 8m from W side of stream. A hundred metres to the NW is a peat and turf-covered building footing 23.0 by 4.0m with a division 6.0m from the NW gable-end.
Surveyed at 1:10,000
Visited by OS 8 April 1981.

This kiln is levelled into the back of the terrace on the W bank of the burn and measures 1.5m in diameter and 0.9m in height. The flue lies on the ESE and the top of the bowl on the W is level with the surrounding ground level.
