NG14SE 2.00 183 429.

At NG 183429 there is a group of about 13 ruined shielings situated some 300m N of Falaisg-airidh beside the Allt Dorch at about 475ft OD. They are in poor condition generally showing merely as green mounds with hollows in the tops, but both single- and double- cell types are recognisable. (Visible on RAF air photographs CPE/UK/Scot/175: 2122-3) Visited by OS (C F W) 10 May 1961.
