Full Description

Near it (NH85NW 8) was found a small brass highland brooch of the flat ring description belonging to a much later period.
G Bain 1925.

This brooch, measuring 1 1/4" diameter, was found in the area centred at NH 8102 5501 by Mr D W McBean 'around 1922' while ploughing the field. The brooch is now in the possession of his daughter, Mrs S Forsyth (Mains of Balnagown, Ardersier), who pointed out the find spot.
Visited by OS (R D) 18 August 1964.
