(Migdale type). Cairngorm Mountains, Inverness-shire (?). Single find. Flat axe, corroded, green patina, butt and cutting edge blunt. Length 141mm, butt 35mm, cutting edge 85mm, weight 480 gms. Inverness Mus. (955.7).

Susan Kruse from ARCH notes that Inverness Museum has checked their accession records and found that this record and MHG4681 refer to the same find. <2>

Before revoking one of the records the references need to be checked. Between the HER records and the two records in Canmore three different page numbers are cited from Schmidt and Burgess 1981. <3>
