Full Description

In dry-rise is a crudely-built, drystone, underground structure, consisting of a roughly circular chamber, 0.9m in diameter with vertical walls 0.7m high and a roof of flat stones. In the NW is a recess 0.5m deep. The entrance, in the NE, is 0.5m wide with a passage 0.6m long, choked with heather. The purpose of this structure is unknown but it is probably of fairly recent date, possibly a "store" and not an antiquity.
Visited by OS (RL) 8 Feb 1971.
