A crofting township comprising thirty-six roofed buildings, which include an inn and a "corn kiln", two partially roofed buildings, nine unroofed buildings and their associated enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Skye 1879, sheet vii). Thirty-six roofed, seventeen unroofed buildings and their associated enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).
