A crofting township comprising nineteen roofed, four partially roofed and ten unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building, their associated enclosures and field walls and a field-system is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1881, sheet xvii). Twenty roofed and ten unroofed buildings, their associated enclosures and field walls and a field-system are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1969).

Various dykes and clearance heaps and an area of rig cultivation were noted during a walkover survey in October 2007 in connection with a proposed new water main. <1>
