A crofting township, a farmstead, three buildings and boundary dykes are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Skye 1879, sheet vii). The crofting township comprises thirty-seven roofed buildings, which include a corn mill, a Free Church and an inn, one partially roofed building and five unroofed buildings. The farmstead (NG 404 633) comprises two roofed buildings and an enclosure. Three other buildings, one roofed and two unroofed, (NG 399 629, NG 4008 6308 and NG 4033 6330) lie to the E of the crofting townchip. What may be two phases of head-dyke are also shown.
The crofting township comprises twenty-six roofed, two partially roofed and twenty unroofed buildings on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968). The farmstead comprises one roofed, three unroofed buildings and an enclosure. The two unroofed buildings and the head-dyke are also shown.
