Full Description

Cairn.
Form: standing structure, circular, c.12.5m diameter
Dated to Bronze Age by type.
Land use: heath.
Relief: steep hillslope.
Aspect: NNW
Altitude: 239=244m OD

NMRS Description is as follows:
This thoroughly robbed cairn, at NH 9411 1434, survives as a rim of debris c. 2.0m wide, indicating a diameter of 12.5m. The centre has been removed to its base but there is no trace of a cist. OS 6" map, 1st ed. and 1:10,000 (1973) position incorrect.
Resurveyed at 1:10,000 scale.
Visited by OS (A A) 18 February 1974.

The heather-cover remains of a cairn, robbed almost to ground level, situated on the edge of a wide natural terrace. It measures c. 11.5m in diameter and is composed of small rubble stones.
