Steamer CAIRN GLEN, 5119 ton, of newcastle, Captain Miller. Lost 23 Mar 1934, 5.40pm, at Huna, 4 miles from Duncansby Head Lighthouse. Daylight.
SW light breeze, sea calm, cloudy. Miscalculated distance from shore. No loss of life, 48 persons on board. General cargo. Value unknown.
